We get a lot of questions on the difference between the neon rope light and the led neon lights and we hope to answer them for you.

Led Neon Light: The Led Neon Light (Colorific) has a colored material poured over the led light bulbs. If you order blue, it will have a blue tinge, if you order yellow; it will have a yellow tinge. The light output is a little bit brighter and the product does stand up well in lighted rooms and sunlight because the material is colored. The led neon light does cost more to manufacture and it will cost more, but the lighting effect is better. Led neon lights are great solution for daytime and night time use or in well lighted areas.

Neon Rope Light: The Neon rope light (Non Colorific) has an opaque white colored material poured over the colored led light bulbs. The light output is the same but the product does not stand up well in well lighted rooms or in sunlight because the white material absorbs the white light. It does cost less to manufacture and we do pass the savings on to the consumer. Neon rope light is a great solution for use in dark environments or night time use only.

Like we stated earlier, both products look about the same in the dark, so we are happy to offer a lower cost option.
